The Opening Ceremony celebrates the official start of the XIX Symposium of Mexican Studies and Students in the UK. An annual multidisciplinary event that brings together students, researchers, professionals, research centres and companies interested in scientific, technological, and multidisciplinary development to promote collaborations between Mexico and the United Kingdom.
We are excited to announce that the Opening Ceremony will be held in Scotland’s Best Building of 2021, the Aberdeen Art Gallery and will be featured by the Aberdeen City Council, University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University, Government of Mexico, and sponsors. Join us at the Opening Ceremonial to celebrate with some refreshments and beverages!

The networking dinner will be held at Brewdog bar in Aberdeen city centre with a special dinner package for the attendants. We will have Mexican Pop Quiz, speed networking and more! An excellent networking opportunity for you, come and join us!

This year’s Gala Dinner will be held in one of the most stunning and ancient venues available at the University of Aberdeen, the baronial Elphinstone Hall, designed and built in 1930. We are delighted to be hosting an in-person event once again and we are looking forward to your company as we catch up and celebrate together.
The dinner includes a drink and a two-course dinner.
